Universities shouldn't own professional minor league sports, it's not the purpose of their existence. At this point they should sell these franchises to an owner . They would then rent out the stadium and parking . That way they would still get revenue but would no longer be involved in day to day business.
The league would then be ran like any minor league without the charade of it having anything to do with academics.
