Well, 10 years ago, the average tariff rate was 6% for USA goods going to China, and 2% for China goods going to USA.
Now it is over 30% for both.
Is that a good idea.
Also, is the goal to just have equal tariff rates, or tariff rates such that production will increase in USA, which are two very different goals.
