12th Amendment says no one who is Constitutionally ineligible to the Office of President can be Vice President.
There is a hole there. The 22nd Amendment only prohibits election to the Office of President. It doesn’t prevent becoming President by other means.
So it can be argued the 12th Amendment doesn’t prevent Trump from running as VP since 1)the 22nd Amendment only focuses on election of the office of President and 2)the 12th amendment was written prior to the 22nd amendment with the thought of other exclusions to the Office of President (not 35 years old, not natural born citizen, etc).
GOP gets stooge to run for President with Trump as VP. Stooge elected then resigns making Trump President.
