dynamics going forward I see the party splitting with the progressive socialist wing (The Bernie bros & AOC) going further to the left. The remaining splintering off into smaller sub groups. One other dynamic is the 'Old Guard' of the Democratic party falling into disrepute in the eyes of younger more committed ideologue's. Unfortunately the same coalition of 'identity politics' that was the bulwark of the democratic party that held it together for so long is also becoming their undoing.
One could write a doctoral thesis on this, but suffice to say without strong democratic leadership and sense of purpose other than R-E-S-I-S-T Trump in all things the natural tendency is double and triple down on their beliefs. This unfortunately is not in lock-step with the current sentiment of the country. In short, we are witnessing in real time the dismantling and dissolution of the democrat party machine. ie, the backdoor funding and incestuous relationship of the legacy media and the intelligence community in our government. Moreover, exposing the roles of NGO's (Non government organizations) both in terms of support and patronage by cutting off the money (tax payer monies). The democrat infighting will continue unabated.
