The notion that ignoring fundamental differences between the sexes is some sort of progress is one of the worst ideas of modern progressivism, and it came out of the old Marxist belief that the nuclear family was bad for women. You still hear idiot liberals on the internet say that stay-at-home motherhood is tantamount to slavery.
It is the civilized man, not the uncivilized man, that puts women's lives on the line in defense of his country. Nope. That's a man's duty.
