The point is that it can't and won't be proven either way, so it will always be fertile ground for conspiracy theorists. I personally believe that there is no way it was just Oswald. No logical way to explain Ruby if it was just Oswald. Beyond that I don't know enough, and doubt there will ever be proof one way or another. That likely died with Ruby. I don't doubt the CIA was involved, and likely some part of organized crime, but I certainly don't know of any proof.
