The Chairman of the committee who just by coincidence
happens to be the AD at North Carolina gave a song and dance about how he was not "in the room" when discussions
of North Carolina happened.
He then deferred to the Vice Chairman who gave the incredibly convincing 3 card monte that it depended if
UAB or Memphis won their tourney game.
