headline proclaiming that the HIGHEST EARNERS would benefit from the tax cut. It did NOT say they would benefit the most. It just said they would benefit.

No schit.

In the FIRST paragraph it said the top 0.1% of earners would save $314,000 in taxes.

No other percentage was identified and their savings were not disclosed.

In the LAST paragraph it said that people making more than $450,000 would get over 45% of the benefits.

They could have said that the people making below the $450,000 level would get the majority of the tax savings.

Maybe the democrats could devise a tax cut where the bottom 50% of earners (the ones who pay virtually zero taxes) get $314,000 in tax savings.

And suddenly, the left is very concerned with the deficit. Even though tax rate cuts increase revenue to the government.
