It's very strange no doubt... I see it all the time in my profession.
You rarely ever have a Conservative with a mental issue outside of Dementia or some moderate depression.
I've never figured out if Dem's are just crazy and gravitate to that party or if they are people on the cusp of having mental issues and the party lights the fire exploiting those issues.
It's probably complex and both situations are plausible and in play.
Either way Dem's tend to be much more unhinged irrational and mentally ill.
