They have no choice

They have to act that way with the way they've framed Trump as an evil fascist that is worse than Hitler. Their lust for power knows no bounds and they will say anything to achieve it. They believe they are morally entitled to be in power, and anyone else being in power is an abomination. Their hysteria over Trump is just a symptom of a much more serious disease. They don't even realize they've been co-opted by globalists that want to harm the United States using any means necessary. Their cause is righteous in their eyes, a religion if you will. So they act the way they do out of necessity.
