In favor of a political party, but going back to the same commentary of the argument, typically is not a strong argument to a claim, despite whereas multiple and diverse perspectives can help formulate a view of reality.

How people interpret things often aligns with their own views.
Different political sides grandstand on false narratives. Some see it, believe it, share it, on various sides.
