and waste in govt...that's seems reasonable, although that's what we had inspectors general for.

Their actual mission is to get revenge on agencies that had the audacity to question Musk's govt contracts, like the FAA and USAID (among others), and get retribution against Trump's perceived enemies in the IRS and DOJ. They are firing employees indiscriminantly...they have no idea who or what they are cutting. They just want to terrorize feds and steal classified and privileged info.
