I am not trivializing anything. There's simply more to the picture than simply stopping the fighting, which is great - maybe the Ukrainians can build back their country. Devil's in the details though and whether it's the right decision might not be known for years (beyond the immediate benefit of Ukrainian-Russian deaths.
