RIDICULOUS, that never happened, shouted the chorus of lefties in congress and the media.
But i knew it was real when the left subtly changed their outrage and explanation to include, "no one actually 'taps' phones anymore".
So they changed from we didn't listen to phone calls to "we didn't wire tap your phones".
