I suppose it is terrifying to find out your sweet gig of doing nothing, collecting fat paydays, benefits with zero accountability is over.

Personally, I'd have checked the logon record of each fed employee, and fired all of them working from home that hadn't logged on during days they got paid.

That's theft.
