I don't see why that is something you find interesting (surprising?).
It seems quite logical to me. The bill would help shield Bayer from lawsuits from their constituent farmers over the lack of (appropriate) labeling for cancer risks from the pesticides they purchased. The representatives' jobs are to represent their constituents. Why wouldn't they be standing up for their rights to contest things in court?
