about why Vance did what he did. Rice states that the entire meeting was a set up. She says she has been in countless meetings with ambassadors, diplomats, presidents and vice presidents and one is thing is certain, no US VP would ever speak out in such a fashion without the approval and likely encouragement of his boss. This was with an audience of one intended, Vlad Putin.
Rice said that we need to be clear that nearly all of what Trump has done since regaining power has been in the service of and even potential direction of Putin. Trump undermines our diplomatic, intelligence, economic well-being. He has flipped a fantastically successful order that has served the world for 80 years and has made it clear that under his leadership, the US stands with dictators and not democratically elected governments. I share this b/c most here will likely in your media sources never hear thoughts of Susan Rice (who I think was a far better choice for VP than Harris, but la di da).
