If he makes a deal... he'll be removed from office or voted out for appearing weak and leading hundreds of thousands to slaughter for nothing.

Everyone else in the world would benefit or stay status quo from a ceasefire and peace deal, except for Zelensky himself.

That is why there is no deal today.

He's still holding on to any last grasp of hope that he may somehow survive this and remain in power.

Trump was brilliant to reframe the negotiation today to "Zelensky refuses peace, wants war, wants World War III"

He is putting it all on him, not the country, but Zelensky alone.

The Ukrainian Legislature is going to be pressured to step in and save their country from Voldemort, or go down as one of the sorriest stories ever told in world history.
