What could possibly go wrong with encouraging uneducated, non-English-speaking, unskilled and often criminally inclined people from Third World schit holes to illegally cross our border in order to take advantage of our absurd welfare state?
It was their virtue signal. It was a demonstration of their compassion, their kindness and their goodness.
They knew it was intentional, they wanted it to be intentional, and only when the inevitable, predictable and desired results of such an inane plan came to light did they they pretend that the results were unforeseeable and totally accidental.
