Berlin Wall and collapse of the Warsaw Pact. It was a noble and righteous mission to combat the doom of worldwide Soviet totalitarianism (why it didn’t include Red China in its mission is beyond me).
It continued and expanded to satisfy the insatiable war machine that had defeated that communist threat.
I was dumb enough to believe they would recognize victory in 1990. War and the threat of war is all the Club knows. And the Club runs the world.
It is time to shake its foundations and stop the perpetual war agenda of that Club.
