I don’t think they anticipated Musk and his IT engineer boy-geniuses success targeting and exposing the vast array of federal programs that diverted huge sums of money to the left-wing NGOs through a variety of slush funds. In going after the NGOs the funds necessary to finance Lawfare counterattacks on the Trump Admin have been drastically curtailed.
