war zone.
A place that's been a war zone for 1000 years. Beirut was the Monte Carlo of the Middle East 50 years ago. It's now just another Mideast schit hole.
This may be however, the opening round of discussions on what to do there. Not sure how it will end up, and it's probably worth a discussion or two over a few years. But you can't build nice stuff in a war zone, where people have no respect for human life, let alone property.
