Btw. In general the assessment would be right. Western diets include more meat and more beef. That will increase the carbon footprint value. Does it mean it’s wrong or something needs to be done about it. No

As economics advance they eat more meat. What would the world look like if everyone in the world became like Americans. I don’t know.

America plus parts of Europe are also the most efficient at producing meat to offset some of the carbon footprint Many of the problems are not the science but the policy that goes behind it. But idiots on the right can’t figure it out so they “fight” or mock the science
