It all depends on what you define as DEI. If you mean hiring unqualified people just because they are not white males, then I agree with you. If DEI is educating personnel to hire base on qualifications and ability, and not look past people who might not fit the traditional stereotype of who that is, then DEI is great. Obviously DEI also involves many things beyond just hiring, but that seems to be the focal point. I have heard lots of *****ing about DEI and the CA wildfires, I have yet to see anything factual that shows DEI had anything to do with it.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
