bootstrap into felonies using novel legal theory. The judge in the trial said the jurors didn't have to agree on the aggrevating reason that would raise the misdemeanors to felonies. Uh, that's not how the law works. And the verdict will evenutally be overturned. And that's only one reason it could be overturned. Paying someone "hush money" is a legal expense. That's no different than any person or organization agreeing to a settlement and avoid civil court. It's a legal expense.
