come up with content on a daily (or nearly daily) basis, and if some of it is "controversial" (or idiotic, as you think) it garners interest and sparks conversation, which benefits his podcast. His "blue blood" episode triggered this extensive TB thread, which, in all likelihood, has driven traffic to his YouTube channel. Mission accomplished for Mr. Miller.
