we have athletics departments loosly attached to colleges. The concept of the student-athlete is decades removed from reality.

In Veach's recent "fiscal fumble" spin document, he referenced the athletics department's GPA.

A. No one cares about academics in the SEC or any other major D1 conference.
B. Those grades are a collaborative effort (enough said).
