Nice town. Plenty to do. I worked there as a consultant in oil and gas industry so I'd be there for maybe a week or 2 at a time. So I never had a residence there. I lived in Billings for a little over a year, Salt Lake for 3.
I think you could remote work easily in Laramie, or even in a town of 10000 in Utah where we spend summers. I've been retired for about 10 years, but now I'm a part time fly fishing guide up there. Thats sometimes really remote. Lol
In Laramie, I would get my run in at War Memorial Stadium after work. You could just walk right in. Last job I had there was 2018. It being a college town, there are some good eats around, and it had some decent bars. It would be a good place to live, but I'm one of those outdoors guys. Lots of western history around and I took in a lot of that.
