US foreign policy in the middle east has been dictated by Isreal for the last 30 years. Until their political influence is purged, the interests of Americans will always take a back seat to the interests of Isreal. If Isreal needs dead Americans in the middle east, our politicians will gladly send them. If Isreal's military needs health benefits, our politicians will happily vote for US taxpayers to foot the bill. (which they just did)

But nobody wants to address the issue out of fear of being accused of antisemitism by the woke mob.
