are, IMO, worthless. Each year teams elevate well beyond expectations. Impact players introduce themselves. Injuries will certainly hamper some programs as the season rolls into conference schedules.
February 1 would be the first meaningful measuring point for the SEC programs.
The Tigers would be a potential candidate to bust some of the expectations, like those of Lunardi. This early version of the Gates 2024/25 experience is clearly different and better than the 2023/24 group. More physical and less prone to mental gaffes. I like their chances to get to 20 wins, especially if we can find 2 to 3 reliable, three-point options.
