I looked at the First article and again that is a Cattle Drive...... You have to Drive Cattle they would never in Your Terms Migrate like that at all.... EVER the article is clearly written my someone who doesn't understand the concept or even context.
I suspect the articles use the term migration because that sounds more polite and less harsh than Driving the Cattle or Forced Relocation of the cattle.
Migration has a more palatable sounding narrative. But make no mistake those cattle did not migrate on instinct or by choice. They where Driven by ax handles, heavy canes, whips and in the modern era you can add in various forms of electric devices.
I've used all those and on occasion a rock or two and sadly on a bad arse bull a .22 with birdshot if they get to aggressive.
