It does provide opponent motivation. Couple that with NFL opt outs and portal, and SEC teams are not the teams that played in season. Other conferences have the same, but it is on a smaller scale, I believe. I dont know how Arky fielded a competent team to play 4 quarters. Some starters and a lot of depth in the portal. 35 players? Woah.
