and not because of recency bias...
We hadn't beaten the arrogant Hawkeyes in over a century (114 years to be exact), and we don't get opportunities to play them very often (unlike our other regional rivals). It was extremely satisfying to beat them in a narrow (and hopefully heartbreaking) fashion, as payback for 2010.
A close second was our win over Oklahoma, for obvious reasons.
Ranking all 10 wins:
1. Iowa (7.5/10)
2. Oklahoma (7/10)
3. Arkansas (6.5/10)
4. Auburn (6/10)
5. Boston College (5.5/10)
6. Vanderbilt (5/10)
7. Miss State (4.5/10) (a dominant 39-20 road win)
8. Buffalo (1/10) (38-0)
9. UMass (0.5/10) (45-3)
10. Murray St (0/10)
Note: To put the 10-point scale in perspective, last year's Ohio State win was an 8.5/10. The 2007 Arrowhead win over KU (which catapulted us to a #1 ranking) was a 9/10. If we had beaten OU in the ensuing Big 12 title game or Auburn in the 2013 SEC title game (to advance to the NCG) it would have been a 9.5/10. And a 10/10 would be winning it all.
