now? aside from Drink as HC and other coaches and titles. Like who is our GM? Marketing Dept? Scouting? etc. I have been following the news on North Carolina hiring Belichick, and how that is setting up. it appears to be a straight NFL model for running a franchise. It also appears they are keeping True Son Ted Manachino as D Line coach. I was selfishly hoping he would return home to help us build, but it doesn't appear to be in the cards.

I ask, because while we are at the forefront of NIL, we are kinda getting caught flat footed, and being told no...giving an appearance that we are NOT of aware of the market prices. maybe a shake up or restructuring is needed to be considered. I know it is a different era of football..things have changed...but for those who never played in high school, or especially college..the development of players is the MOST IMPORTANT facet of college football outside of recruiting. Lacy, with one year under his belt, was set to take off. after year 1, the game slows down, the routine becomes known, familiarity & repetition breeds speed, quickness, and confidence. Retaining these kids is vital...especially the talented ones. We need define & shore up what our model is in this current age of college football.
