It's hard to judge these kids

Who knows what their family situation is? I remember just before the signing his father was saying they were still listening to offers. I hope this isn't driven just by greed and he and his family are considering what's good for him long term. I thought Drink handled him well this year. He let everyone know that he would have limited playing time and would preserve his red-shirt. He also got into the max four games.

The other thing I remember is a few analysts talking about his raw ability but that he was going to be a project.

Who knows what the heck is really going on?? From more money, to HS coach at Neb, to frustration with progress at Mizzou. In the end, I can't fault our coaches with anything that I saw as a fan. Seems like they were doing everything with his best interest at heart. I just hope we can redeploy that NIL money. If so, we're likely better off as well.
