his role and get his carries. if he doesn't pan out he won't get to play. whether those carries go to a transfer or another guy in his recruiting class or even a guy recruited a year after him really doesn't matter at that point.

i get your point though. but i think bringing in transfers probably puts more pressure on existing guys than it does hs recruits.
