How close we were to having a super elite O lineman. Not just missing on Rogers, but Fasusi & Babalola were on campus too..especially Babalola should of went all in for him. Also..there was good talent on ks side of KC Metro..Merritt, Juju, and Jayden all went out of state too..2 with the Nubs no less...they could be back...cause I think Rhule has lost his magic, and they didn't look good vs decent teams. I think we should have looked for secondary players a little harder as well.
But all in all, we were close to grabbing some big pieces that were in a recruiting area..and we only got a couple.
Still solid class..but 4 of our 10 4star recruits we got in the last week. So the staff saved the day with that rally.
The last 4 recruiting cycles average to about 20th in the nation. Which is about where we finished in the college playoff poll. To consistently get better on the field, we need to get better players. That simple. We got a bunch today...but we left some talent on the table.
