That is very different than refusing after being asked multiple times to return them under the premise they are mine and taking considerable measures to mislead those trying to recollect them. Trump is also morally bankrupt and transactional in nature, and can barely read. His interest in retaining that documentation was almost certainly purposeful and for nefarious intent.
