This may appear to be a case of a nation getting the government it deserves. Shockingly sad what has become of America. The City on the Hill, the last best hope. All that for now is gone. The US will soon be aligned and allied with brutal dictatorships. For most of my many years, we were collectively much better than that. We stood up to dictators and did not coddle them. The irony is that so many voters cast votes in response to inflation that hit us all pretty hard for a few years. Well, sit tight.
