There is a quite a myth by the mainstream media that the GOP has an issue with women.
But in actuality, the issue is with black voters. And black women have voted around 99-1 in favor of Democrats historically. Most black GOP votes (as modest as they've been) have historically been from men.
But ALL OTHER women, vote in favor of the GOP by around a 6-10% margin. When black women are added in... it swings in favor of Democrats overall.
The problem for Democrats in 2024, are that black voters (including black women) are moving right for the first time since the 60s. 2024 will be the largest share of both black men and women GOP voters since before Kennedy.
So you have around 85% of non-black women that vote majority with the GOP and always have. And now the 15% of black women are shifting (slowly but surely) towards the GOP.
On top of all that... Hispanics are swinging for Trump in record numbers, with multiple polls showing him winning the Hispanic vote nationally. To put that in perspective... Trump won in 2016, while losing Hispanics 71-27 to Hillary.
For Trump to have made up that much ground with Hispanic voters, means millions of Hispanic women are also swinging over to the GOP.
The trends point Trump's way - no matter how you slice and dice the demographics
