If you are looking at national polls, which are largely irrelevant, it is very close. But Trump is far, far ahead of the 2 previous elections where he won one and narrowly lost the other. And he is currently 5-8 points stronger than in both of those.

In the key states, he is leading in nearly every one. In PA and WI, incumbent Senate dems are running ads associating them with Trump.

The trends are troubling for Kamala.
