What are the people who do rankings supposed to do?

First of all, rankings like this are complete and utter horsesh*t that mean less than the huge dump I took this morning.

That being said, Mahomes' numbers have been down (not bad, just not as insane as his first few years), and other guys are putting up better numbers. Are they just supposed to put him at #1 ad infinitum until someone else wins a Super Bowl no matter what?

I doubt he gives a single f*ck about anything like this. But Chiefs fans will be in an uproar regardless I guess.
