Idiot couple in our neighborhood were putting out cat food

for the feral cats. The raccoons discovered it and were literally beating down a path across another neighbor's yard to get to the freebies.
In repayment, the raccoons got more pushy and managed to come down the chimney into their house and tore up the entire kitchen going thru the cabinets for food.
Woman went out to start her car one morning and had nothing. Towed it to the dealership and they discovered raccoons had eaten the wiring harness under the car.
But she meant well.
