the only reason it's so high is:
-we printed a metric **** ton of money (BOTH Trump & Biden) at the same time we decreased our production, which led/leads to inflation, much of which STILL hasn't been fully realized yet (and the portion of it that's been realized hasn't been reported).
-interest rates are (much) lower than the effective inflation rate
-Asset prices, including and especially stock prices are inflating as investors seek to drop cash
