n policy had caused such a terrible tragedy... He felt compassion for immigrants who may have tough lives, and he doesn't want to fuel hatred of them, and he wished (that if his son was killed) that the murderer had been a white man... but the fact of the matter is that it wasn't... that if they had not opened the borders to anyone and everyone for so long, his son's murderer would not have been here and would not have brutally murdered his son... or something like that.
