The last 30ish years in Columbia have really been crazy..

Fresh off the funk of the 80s and 90s is when I went to my first game. It was a loss to Ohio State (pic not related) with Corby doing everything he could to get that win. Pretty proud moment to play the Buckeyes tough on national TV.

Fast forward 30ish years and one Brad Smith, Gary Pinkel, 41-24 (and 41-6), conference change, stadium overhaul later...

I mean, just look at the difference in these two atmospheres.
We've beaten the Buckeyes and look to fight for a chance at the national title. There's no way I could have thought something like that up in the nearly empty stadium that October in 97. A Big 12 doormat to a top third SEC program.
Just some late night perspective as I sip some coffee and look forward to Thursday. Cheers.
