Inflation is not a new thing and if you look at recent history, say the last 75 years, even today inflation is relatively low.

I'm not sure if you're trying to argue that maybe under another leader we'd have NO INFLATION but inflation is always around. Also happening: Wages generally rise over time. Now all of this may not be equal at the same time but generally, especially in America, you're gonna come out relatively even between higher wages and inflation in a given year.
