which there will only be strategically (like when they needed to oust Biden after the debate), they won't risk putting her out. They have assessed that the campaign has plenty of momentum and energy and her worst moments as VP are speaking without a teleprompter, so throwing her out in that scenario becomes a high risk, low reward endeavor. The safest thing is a running out the clock type philosophy.
