I say what I mean.
You assume implications.
There is currently no path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.
Including Dreamers, brought here by their parents as long as 30 years ago.
Who have grown up here, been educated here, who work here as productive members of society. Who now have US citizen children of their own. If anyone deserves a path to citizenship, it is the Dreamers. But they don’t have one.
