came about has turned me into a quasi-conspiracy guy. Not really, but it's literally unfathomable how this country has got to this...on both sides.
We have to have term limits (which will never happen) but my only other guess is that people don't want to be in politics on lower levels anymore so, over the last couple of decades, it's just a race to the bottom of mediocre state and lower federal level candidates. Who knows??
